OnCall Roofing/Carpentry/General Construction - Renewable Energy Industry

compensation: $14-18/hr

This is a great opportunity learn about the Renewable Energy Industry; a rapidly growing sector with a diverse range of career opportunities. Work on an on call basis, with the opportunity to advance into a variety of full time positions such as a permanent crew member, manager or even a technical support agent. Also offering paid internships through the MassCEC, so students are also encouraged to apply. Work closely with Operations Manager, Lead Crew Members and President assisting in a variety of construction and carpentry tasks. <em Offering competitive wages with immediate opportunities Are you comfortable on a roof and love to stay busy? Experience in solar is a plus, but not a must, we will train! We may offer temporary, seasonal and permanent positions to motivated, labor-ready ladies and gentleman.Got Sun Go Solar is an EPC, specializing in residential and commercial photovoltaic installations; fully licensed and insured, located in Seekonk, Massachusetts. Currently servicing the Southeastern Massachusetts/ Bristol and Plymouth counties.

Qualifications

Previous solar experience strongly preferred; will train the right person
Must be able to lift 50lbs
Ability to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold, crawl spaces, etc)
Must be willing and able to climb ladders, stairs, work on rooftops and to be on your feet for long periods of time
Please have your own transportation and a valid state driver’s license.
Thrive in a team environment and maintain a tidy work site
A sense of humor is also appreciated.
Compensation: $12-$18 based on experience and workload.
